Background

Flick the Bean - the ultimate coffee-based viral game, designed to raise awareness of Percol's FairTrade alternative to Nescafé Original.

Brief

Percol, one of the early pioneers of the fairtrade movement in the UK decided it was time to take on Nestlé. Percol Original is a direct competitor to Nescafé and they needed to get the message out there that it is of equal taste, equal price and guess what - it's fairly traded.

Solution

Enable worked up a number of creative viral concepts all designed to be engaging and cheeky. The game is designed to build product and brand awareness and was seeded to a highly targeted consumer group - primarily students and people receptive to the products' FairTrade credentials.

Campaign effectiveness was tracked using our own set of campaign management tools.

Results

Seriously addictive (like great coffee!) delivering hundreds of hours of brand exposure within the first few days of the campaign.
