Webbliworld
Webbliworld is a junior social network for 7 -11 yr olds, produced in collaboration with Aardman Animations. Phase 1 (now live) is a marketable platform which is building a community to attract sponsors, Phase 2 is a fully-fledged education and entertainment content network. In addition to creating the platform, we've helped to unlock relationships with Penguin and WWF who are now on board as sponsors and content providers.
Creativity, social networking and great entertainment content for 7 - 11 year olds
Webbliworld features animated films, starring a host of new characters, as well as interactive games, news feeds and educational resources. Kids can design their own avatar using a kit of parts designed by Aardman which gives them over a billion possible combinations "...far cooler than the MySpace pout-and-take-self-portrait-photo phenomenon..." concluded Creative Review. They can then create their own profiles with links to bands, books, and movies that they like. All content that is added to WebbliWorld by users is moderated by an external moderation company and WebbliWorld staff.
